General Camping Information​

​

We welcome casual campers and organised caravan clubs to our Showground!  We are a campground with good amenities and you can be assured a comfortable stay.

​

Rates

​

Powered Sites:         $35 per night

Unpowered Sites:     $30 per night

Horse Stabling:        $  5 per night with owners meeting certain conditions

​

Prices are for up to two people, an extra $10 per adult per night (over 14) will apply on a powered site and an extra $5 per adult per night will apply on an unpowered site.

​

We do not accept online or bookings in advance for casual camping.  We invite you to call the day before your arrival to ensure we have vacancy - 0474 100 189.

​

Caravan Clubs should contact us with at least 4 weeks notice to reserve your required sites (minimum 5).

​

We welcome new guests to check-in between the hours of 11am and 5pm.  Check out by 10am on your day of departure.

Getting here

​

The fastest and easiest entry point is from the M1 Motorway. There is an error on some GPS systems taking campers in via Coolamon Scenic Drive.

​

If you are travelling north, take the Mullumbimby turn-off on the left, and turn left again at Uncle Tom's Bakery. The travel across town to the campground entrance on 62 Main Arm Road.

​

If you are travelling south, take the Brunswick Heads turn-off on the left, then follow Gulgan Road to Mullumbimby. Turn right at Uncle Tom's Bakery, and travel across town to the campground entrance at 62 Main Arm Road.

Conditions of Entry

​

The following activities are welcome, with conditions:
 

  • Pets are welcome - there are 'On Leash' and 'Off Leash' areas on the grounds.  Please observe these designated areas, and have control of your companion animals at all times

  • Please pick up after your pet - bags are provided​


The following activities are not permitted
 

  • Fires (of any kind)

  • Removal or tampering with the natural environment - all fauna and flora are protected

  • Unregistered vehicles

  • Noise between 10pm & 6am – e.g generators and loud music

  • Explosive devices

  • Offensive slogans

Our Showground is for the use of our entire community - and we are committed to fostering a welcoming environment.

​

Vehicles with slogans or 'tags' that are offensive will be denied access to the Showground or asked to leave the Showground as soon as we are made aware of them. 

​

We reserve the right to determine what is 'offensive', and regret any inconvenience to campers such as those hiring vans from Wicked Campers.

COVID-19 Protocols
The campground is open with the following restrictions part of our COVID Safe plan. All guests share in the responsibility to keep our community and guests Covid free :-)

Festival Camping

 

There are a number of events throughout the year where our grounds are booked out for Festivals and Events.  Please check here for updates as to exact dates, however as a guide:

  • Mullumbimby Agricultural Show - closed to campers for the duration.  Annually in November.

  • Mullumbimby Circus Festival - closed camping for ticket holders - booked direct with the festival organisers.  Bi-annually in September/October, next event 2022.

  • Splendour In The Grass - Closed camping for ticket holders.  Annually in July.

  • Blues Fest - open to regular campers, but all guests need to book online for the Blues Fest / Easter Weekend.

  • Renew Fest - open to regular campers along with Renew Fest campers. Annually in May (Mothers Day weekend) with the next festival 2023.
