‘Tis the season!

Carols by Candlelight will be held in the showground’s main arena on Sunday 10 December, 2017 at 6.30pm. Don’t miss this fun and free family event, proudly brought to the community by the Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce. Warm up those vocal chords and get your christmas cheer on. Psssst, kids – word around town is that the big man in the red suit will be making a special appearance……

Plenty of parking is available via the Chinbible Avenue gate. Merry Christmas everyone!

Horse Wellbeing Gathering now at Mullum Showground

New dates coming for 2018…. Lisa Podosin is a local qualified instructor who practices natural horsemanship. She’s set up a facebook group to share the details, here’s the link:

Have you seen our newly upgraded Food Hall kitchen yet?

It’s available for hire. It features a new oven & large fridge, plenty of stainless steel bench space, a marble pastry slab and commercial-grade flooring. We were fortunate enough to be able to recycle materials from the ex-Mullum Hospital kitchen, with huge thanks to the North Coast Area Health Service, Mullumbimby Hospital Auxillary, Geoff Bennett Stainless Steel and all the dedicated contractors who worked on the fit out. If you’re a local caterer, food vendor, or market stallholder looking for a space to cook, contact the Showground Manager to arrange a visit.

Raising funds for a solar system at Mullum Showground

After a huge fundraising effort in partnership with COREM, the Showground’s 10kWh solar pv system is now up & running. We can’t wait to see the benefits of going renewable on our next electricity bill, happy in the knowledge that it’s benefiting the environment too. Thanks COREM and thanks to all who donated funds for the Showground Solar Project! If you’re not already a COREM supporter, find out more via the link below:
